Let's be honest here, like most people you probably think plain water is boring and not very attractive to drink on its own. Well that's no problem because you can spice it up a little without lowering its natural benefits.

You can add the juice from a lemon (or a lime) to a pint of plain water to give it flavour. Keep a bottle of this mixture in the fridge for a cool, refreshing drink whenever you need it.

What's more, it makes a great natural detox for your body too! Lemon juice is a well known purifier and when it is digested it actually helps to alkalize your body, lowering harmful acidity levels.
